PAPADOPOULOS ATHANASIOS

Dr. Athanasios PAPADOPOULOS, received a diploma in Chemical Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) in 1993. He obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Joint Research Centre, Ispra, Italy / University of Ioannina) in 2000. Currently he is a Senior Researcher at the Biomolecular Physics Laboratory at NCSR Demokritos. His research interests fall to the thematic priorities of (i) Analysis of environmental samples using gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, (ii) Assessment of air pollution using field measurements of volatile organic compounds, (iii) Thermodynamic stability of proteins, (iv) Study of lipid membranes and their interactions.
