Radiochemistry Lab

Description

The Lab has the facilities, expertise and required legal approval for handling and experimentation of a variety of radioisotopes. The activities of the Lab include optimization of radiolabeling conditions, determination of radiochemical purity, radiochemical purity and stability studies of novel radiopharmaceutical substances. Facilities include 68Ge/68Ga and 99Mo/99mTc generators, radio-HPLCs, radio-TLC, dose calibrators, gamma counter, Geiger counters, hot cells for handling gamma- and positron-emitting radioisotopes, hot cell for alpha-particle emitters, heating and shaking blocks.
