Dr. Roupa Ioanna has a Bachelor degree in Chemistry of the Department of Chemistry of NKUA (2013). She received her master of science in Chemistry from the same University, specializing in Inorganic Chemistry and Technology (2015) funding by scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (SSF).
Her academic course was followed by her doctorate in the Department of Pharmacy of NKUA in collaboration with the laboratory of Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry of INRASTES at NCSR Demokritos. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the design of new complexes as possible anticancer agents and was funded by a scholarship from HFRI.
For the last two years she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry of INRASTES and her research interests are focused on the development of new radiopharmaceutical compounds as diagnostic and therapeutic agents. During this period it has been funded by the Industrial Scholarship Program of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and with a scholarship from (SSF). Dr. Roupa Ioanna has many publications in international peer reviewed journals and has numerous presentations (oral and posted) in Hellenic and International conferences.
