Dr. Georgios Pavlou is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Fusion Technology Group of the Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences and Technology, Energy & Safety (INRASTES) of NCSR “Demokritos” since December 2019, and works for the purposes of the European Consortium for the Development of Fusion Energy (EUROfusion) in code development for the analysis of experimental data and in code development of theoretical physics.
He graduated from the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2006 and completed the Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Nuclear and Particle Physics of the same department in 2010. His PhD thesis was on “Adiabatic description of quantum resonances in time dependent systems” and he received his PhD diploma, from the same Department, in 2017.
He has published 4 articles in international scientific peer-reviewed journals, has 11 citations and has participated in 15 international conferences with 3 oral presentations.
