CHAIRETAKIS
KONSTANTINOS

Associate Researcher, Mathematician

Chairetakis, Konstantinos (BSc, MSc) is postgraduate research staff at SRISL working on the development of advanced machine learning and deep learning computational tools. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Athens (UoA), MSc in Statistics and Operational Research from UoA, and MSc in Computer Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) in Greece. He is an experienced Python and R programmer as well as relevant tools and frameworks, with strong background in Bayesian statistics, stochastic processes, and sensitivity / uncertainty analysis.

He participates in the H2020 project NANOINFORMATIX, and the H2020/I4MS-funded industrial experiments SUPREEMO and CLARION. In NANOINFORMATIX he is building optimization tools to guide the design of safe-by-design nanomaterials – the tools will be integrated in the model platform, communicating with the database and interacting with different models. In SUPREEMO and CLARION he is developing DL-based models to analyse high-frequency energy load data and detect anomalies signalling possible equipment malfunction.
