Dr. Michailia Angelopoulou received her BSc (2009), her MSc (2012), and her PhD (2017) from the Department of Chemistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2017-2020 she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in NCSR “Demokritos” through an Industrial Postdoc Fellowship funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Currently, she participates in a Young Researchers Support Program funded by Greek General Secretariat for Research and Innovation. Her research interests focus on the development of immunochemical methods, optical and electrochemical sensors for detection of food hazards. She is the author of 9 publications in international journals and more than 20 presentations in International Conferences.
