Stavros Xanthopoulos (Food Technologist), is a Technician at the Laboratory of Radiopharmacological Studies of the Institute of Nuclear and Radiological Sciences, Technology, Energy and Safety of NCSR “Demokritos”, since 1997. He is involving in biodistribution studies of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for cancer and other diseases, as well as in biodistribution  of  radioisotope-labeled nanoparticles, in various species of healthy rodents, and  in pathological models that are developed in the laboratory for this purpose. He is responsible for the proper functioning  and correct implementation of the Protocols of the Laboratory Animal Use Facility with registration code EN 25 BIO 022, as well as the keeping of the necessary files.
