Konstantina Grigoriou holds a bachelor in chemistry from the University of Ioannina (2012) and a master’s degree in environmental chemistry and technology from the University of Athens (2014). She is a PhD candidate in the Dpt. of Chemistry, University of Athens. The objective of her PhD is the “Risk assessment of the exposure of the general population to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) through the determination of their concentration in various foods, by optimized GC- MS/MS technique”. Since 2014, she works as a scientific collaborator in the Mass Spectrometry and Dioxin Analysis Laboratory of the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” and has involved in various national and European research programs. Her research interests focus on the development and implementation of analytical methods for the determination of persistent organic pollutants in food, feed, blood and environmental matrices, for human biomonitoring and exposure assessment purposes.
