Martha Habibi has graduated from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She has received her Master of Science in Medical Physics and currently she is a PhD student of the Medical Physics Department, Medical School of the University of Athens. The PhD thesis was initiated on March of 2018 and is realised in collaboration with the Health Physics, Radiobiology & Cytogenetics Laboratory of the Institute of Nuclear and Radiological Sciences and Technology, Energy and Safety of NCSR “Demokritos” and Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre.

She investigates the potential use of biomarkers for low ionizing radiation dose from exposure during interventional cardiac procedures, based on different molecular and cytogenetic endpoints.
