Armaou Evangelia, is a Chemist (University of Ioannina 2002), holder of a Master’s Degree in “Clinical Chemistry” (Department of Chemistry EKPA in collaboration with the Doping Control Laboratory, OAKA, ATHENS 2004). She works at the Laboratory of Atmospheric Chemistry and Innovative Technologies (Air-Tec-Lab) of the NCSR “DEMOKRITOS” as a scientific associate (September 2023-present). She has also worked from 2005 to 2009 at the “BIOIATRIKI” group, where she gained experience in conducting chemical analyzes of vitamins and catecholamines using high-performance liquid chromatography-HPLC. From 2009 to 2010 she worked in the R&D department of the Industrial Company of Pharmaceutical Products “ALAPIS” and from October 2013 to February 2023 in the “INNOVATION HUB” of Public Power Corporation, in the Department of Analytical Chemistry Laboratories. There she gained experience in analyzes of chemical waste and wastewater treatment sludges, air pollution particles, water and liquid waste and wastewater, as well as ISO 17025 Laboratory Accreditation procedures. Finally, she worked at the Waste Management and Utilization company “POLYECO”, in analyzes of hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polychlorinated biphenyls, in chemical waste and polluted soils. She has long experience in good handling of HPLC, GC-ECD, GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP, ICP-MS-MS, AAS, UV-Vis.
