Nikolaos Apostolopoulos M.Sc is a chemist (2020, University of Ioannina, School of Sciences), with a master degree specialized in chemistry and technology of materials applied in industry, the energy and the environment at the Chemistry department of Patras University (2023). His master’s thesis was conducted in cooperation with the Heterogeneous Catalysis laboratory at Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas / Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (FORTH/ICE-HT) in relation to research program (H.F.R.I.). His master’s thesis was catalytic oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on transitional metal oxides. At this period he participated in native and international conferences. He is experienced in the synthesis of metal oxide materials and in the operation of GC equipped with FID and TCD detectors for catalytic activity measurements and in temperature-programmed techniques (H2-TPR, TPD, TPSR) with mass spectrometer (MS). Since July 2024 until present he works as a chemist at the Atmospheric Chemistry and Innovative Technologies Laboratory (AirTec-Lab) of NCSR «Demokritos» also familiar with ISO 17025 procedures. He is an excellent user of computers and English language.
