Dioxin/BFR 2026 Symposium– the 46th International Symposium on POPs and Related Pollutants, was completed in a pleasant atmosphere in the stunning scenery of Riva del Garda in Italy, following a week of exchanging views, discussions, and networking among experts from the global scientific community.
The meeting is dedicated to the 50 years after the Seveso disaster, one of the world’s most significant industrial dioxin incidents occurred, forever shaping environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and chemical regulation.
Half a century later, it was inspiring to join scientists, regulators, and industry experts discussing the next generation of analytical challenges and solutions in Dioxins, PFAS, Flame retardants and Microplastics.
Mass Spectrometry and Dioxin Analysis Lab is a member of the International Advisory Committee and participated in the Dioxin/BFR 2026 Symposium with oral and poster presentations.
