The aim of the project is to study and implement good practices, new methods, and innovations for: a) the adoption of hydrogen, liquefied natural gas, ammonia, electricity (as a propulsion “fuel”) and other alternative fuels, and b) corresponding applications that can be adopted by ports and ships within Greek territory in an effort to reduce and ultimately eliminate their environmental footprint. The project highlights the entire chain required for the use of different fuels, from production and supply to distribution to the end user and the development of guidelines and standards.
